Famke Janssen actressFamke Beumer Janssen (born 5 November 1964) is a Dutch actress and former fashion model. She got her first starring role as a vigilante in the TV movie Model by Day and followed it up with the film effort Relentless IV: Ashes to Ashes, both 1994 releases. After Lord of Illusions (1995), she became one of the most villainous Bond Girls ever, as Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye (1995). Janssen is also a UNODC Goodwill Ambassador for Integrity. In 1995, Janssen co-starred with Star Trek: Enterprise actor Scott Bakula in the Clive Barker film Lord of Illusions. This film also featured fellow TNG guest actor Vincent Schiavelli. In 2000, Janssen played superheroine Dr. Jean Grey/Phoenix in X-Men. She reprised the role in X2 (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), for which she won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. In addition, Janssen had a prominent role in the second season of the popular TV series Nip/Tuck, as the seductive and manipulative life coach Ava Moore, which earned her Hollywood Life’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award. She reprised her role in the final two episodes of the series.
